The world reveal of the 2014 Nissan Qashqai was conducted on November 7th in the UK. Nissan will commence sales of the new Qashqai in the UK from January 2014, and have just announced the prices.
The new Qashqai will be available in four trim levels - Visia, Acenta, Acenta Premium and Tekna - which are basically the Indian equivalents of XE, XL, XV and XV Premium.
The base Visia model is priced from £ 17,595 (INR 17.7 lakhs) and features automatic air conditioning, Hill Start Assist, a 5-inch color HD infotainment display, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and cruise control.
The Acenta adds features such as dual-zone automatic air conditioning, 17-inch alloy wheels, front foglamps, auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. This variant is priced at £ 19,145 (INR 19.35 lakhs).
The Acenta Premium model at £ 20,995 (INR 21.22 lakhs) features a rear view camera, i-key with push button start, parking sensors and a panoramic glass roof.
The top-end Tekna model priced at £ 23,145 (INR 23.4 lakhs) gets Bi-LED headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, heated seats, front and rear parking sensors and a 7-inch touchscreen display.
All the prices mentioned here are for the 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 2WD and a manual transmission. This is the base powertrain option in the 2014 Qashqai range.
The new Qashqai is available with 2WD or 4WD, and buyers can choose from four engine options (two petrol and two diesel options). The 2014 Qashqai is also expected to launch in India next year.
