Hyundai India has released this teaser video of the Hyundai Grand i10. Apart from the video, the company has also started its initial marketing activities for the new hatchback.
The slogan being used for the car is "Fun Finds A New Lingo". You can also book a test drive of the Grand i10 using Hyundai India's website or by sending an SMS from your mobile device.

Regular Indian Autos Blog readers have already seen the leaked brochure of the Grand i10 along with its features and variants list. To recap, the Grand i10 will be offered with a petrol and a diesel engine. The petrol in question is the 1.2-liter Kappa2 which does duty on the i20 as well. While we expect Hyundai to offer the petrol in 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission options, the brochure has no mention of the auto box.
The diesel engine is a 1.1-liter 3-cylinder unit, codenamed U2. This is actually a 3-cylinder version of the i20's 1.4 CRDi. It produces 71PS and 16.3 kgm of torque.
The Grand i10 would get a segment first feature in the form of rear aircon vents. The feature would be available in all variants apart from the base model. Hyundai India would be offering 8 exterior color choices to choose from.
