The Honda Amaze was launched in Thailand a few days ago, and the Japanese have decided to get even more exposure and publicity by presenting it at the ongoing Thai Motor Expo that attracts millions of Thai would-be car buyers each year.
Honda also presented a Modulo kit for the Amaze for people who like a bit of zing in their car.
So what do you get in the Modulo Kit?
Honda Brio Amaze Modulo exterior
- A new front grill
- Sporty front and rear bumper extensions
- Fared side skirts
- A ‘ducktail’ boot lid spoiler
- Chrome tipped tail pipe
- Sporty alloy wheels
Honda Brio Amaze Modulo interior
- Carbon-fibre style dashboard panel
- Touch-screen head unit with navigation
- Reverse camera display
- Sporty pedals and gear knob
- Door sills with Amaze illumination
Mechanically the Honda Amaze remains unchanged. It is powered by a brand new 1.5 litre Earth Dreams i-DTEC turbodiesel (for India) or a 1.2 litre petrol engine from the hatch (for other markets). A manual or a CVT gearbox is also on offer.
Do you think Honda should offer the Modulo Kit on the Amaze sedan in India as well and extend it to customers of the City and the Brio? We want to hear your opinion in the comments section, Honda is certainly taking note of what you say.

Excellent This one looks like a real sedan, the new front grill does a commendable job giving it an all aggressive stance.
The original looks were a mixed bag and not too pleasing to the eyes. The front fascia was a typical Brio derivative and looked kiddish while the rest of the car was all macho styling.
Hope they release this version in India.

Superb combination of price & accessories. I am sure it’s gonna be a value for money.
MODULO is an outstanding object especially the carbon fibre dash board is amazing.I was astonished on seeing the extra features in the modulo brana honda amaze. I am expecting this modulo brand in India also by April 11,2013.I am sure that it is superior to Toyota ethos in all aspects.More improvement is expected to reduce the slightly higher engine sound and cabin sound. Is it true the amaze engine sound is more than maruti dezire?
I’d like to see the Modulo kit exteriors to be come in the production version for India. That looks a real Honda for me, very stylish and sporty. The new front grill has made a huge difference. The actual design was a big let down. So, rather than having customers buying a Modulo kit separately, why not inculcate that in your production design? The interiors were good enough in the original.
This is really very aggressive, we really want this HONDA, kindly bring in this and for sure you will be AMAZED by customer response. We love good looking cars with great looks so do bring the MODULO kit to INDIA.
Yes, of-course. Modulo kit is a welcome. The front grill looks amazing compared to original, but I wish if Amaze headlamp also gets geometrical shape complementing the character line running through the side profile, instead of being left organic. IMO, organic shape of headlamp looks good to Brio and Honda is known to make car design unique to each other.
If India Gets Amaze with these accessories fitted, then cars like Ford Classic, verito, Dezire, all such mid range sedans and NotchBacks falls withing 7-8.5 lac bracket would be a big back log getting stagnant in the yards !! Come on Honda !! i would prefer a Entry level Honda Amaze 1.5 Earthdreams Diesel for sure:) wonderful Pack from Honda
Excellent
