they could have changed the front grill and below air dam area despite the heavy criticism. looks good, but not to the price point!

And finally, the crouching tiger has arrived with hidden dragon inside it. Hope it masters the offroad capability, keeping the ride and handling at its best. C’mon TATA, make a Storme in SUV Safari.

I Wish The Manza’s Touch screen navigation, AutoAC, Steering mounted audio controls and contrast roof rails on the VX trim would be an added advantage and the rear bit is of plastic which really isnt appealing hum its way too costly comparing with older version, better they could have stopped the older one and made this fit in that segment of pricing :( humm not just the Engineering would work out in India also the pricing factor will decide the success, but paying 11lac for storme is better than paying it for Renault Duster :)

9.95lkh, Spare me the horror! They have not learned from the horrible fate Aria suffered. will someone please remind Tata Motors that their glory days of dominance in SUV market are a thing of the past. They do not command a premium now like good old days. Only thing that might get them some bookings is the sheer band name of Safari, no credit to the Tata Motors team for this product, its expensive and outdated.

With ABS and rear AC made common on all variants, it seems a pretty decent buy. Though gizmos like navigation will be missed.

The base variant LX is priced very high. The price is ex showroom Delhi 9.95L and earlier it was 8.28L approx. One thing is good that LX now has ABS, but I feel that it is still slightly higer side. In other state price will be > 10L and then onroad price will be more than 11.5L

I still dont understand what people at TATA are thinking or have they stopped thinking altogether. They named a good looking car like the Grande as Sumo Grande and it was a complete failure only the taxi market finds takers. Now they repeat the same Safari Strom. If they have took the ARIA platform how difficult was it do design an all new body. They dont seem to realize they own the JLR brand. After so much testing and R&D this is what we get which is priced crazily.

Fun intended: Year 2040. IAB was present at the launch of the New Safari for the Indian market. The car now gets steering mounted controls first time ever. For the very first time the 3rd row of seats are front facing(was missing in previous generations). Touch screen infotainment system will be provided in the next year model. Safari has a single din music system which is factory fitted.Hill descent and hill hold systems will also be introduced in the next generation models.
