I am owning a fortuner since aug 2010.We in our family of 4 enjoy the car with all its options. We have done quite a bit of offroading in beaches of Chennai and the ghats of ooty. On this the dunlop tyres supplied as OE is not upto the mark .The side wall bulges or swells on a puncture while driving on tarmac surface. If this could be the case how will it sustain on heavy offroading? On representing this matter to TKM thro Harha Toyota here at Chennai I was given a cold reply that it is because of user problem. As a user we do not have a flat after any advice or information from the car or the road nor do the vehicles have any sensors to inform the driver that there is going to be flat tyre. When going by the so called PPM levels I think I am the unfortunate to have such a tyre on car. I am sharing this for the benifit of all other Fortuner owners.
