About 100,000 AUTO BILD magazine readers have voted the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class the best-looking car in the world. The E-Class Sedan was the overall winner while the E-Class Coupé grabbed top spot in the “Coupé and Cabriolet” category.
Apart from looking good, a unique combination of driving assistance systems have gone into the E Class (these may fetch more awards in future). Among them are features such as drowsiness detection, Adaptive Highbeam Assist and the DISTRONIC PLUS proximity control system which plays an important role in helping to prevent rear-end collisions.
E-Class trademarks such as long-distance comfort, use of high-quality materials and the perfect ergonomics are retained. The best part however is the car’s long term value. Some independent analysts say that the new E-Class will have a miniscule depreciation value and will offer the best value retention in its class.

I really think that the E-Class looks good.. Well, the coupe that is.
I’m a HUGE fan of the Black Series CLK63 AMG as well. So although that car looks really amazing to me, this is doing a good job for 2010.
People that prefer BMW over Merc will not agree with this, and it would be the same if the BMW 7-Series for instance was voted the best looking in the world, as you’d find that the Merc drivers would not like that assumption.
All really boils down to what or who you like

Haha unbelievable. The car is far from being the best looking car, but when the Laura can win, so can the E Class.
