Now there’s another reason to fly from the Delhi International Airport. Mercedes Benz India has inaugurated a ‘Star Lounge’ with the SLS AMG on display. The photographs released by Mercedes has an unlocked SLS AMG which you can sit in and click pictures with.

The SLS AMG coupe is promoted by Michael Schumacher driving it on the ceiling of the tunnel. It features a 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.

Although the lounge does not give you a tunnel to experience this first hand, if you are a Mercedes-Benz owner, you get access to exclusive areas within the lounge.

Mercedes Benz will launch the new C-Class later this year and the SLS AMG convertible could join the Indian arsenal next year. In 2012, we expect Mercedes to assemble the latest generation ML- and GL-Class models in Pune.

Video – Classic Michael Schumacher Fiat Linea T-Jet Ad

According to reports emerging online, we can expect the Fiat Linea T-Jet in India by mid-2010. The 1.4-liter T-Jet petrol engine can give either 120PS or 152PS, the former will most likely be the Indian version’s rating.

The advertisement is not recent and considering Schumacher has moved to Mercedes, this Ad is no longer relevant to the die-hard Schumacher-Ferrari fan.

But for those looking forward to the high-power sedan this year, you’ve got a good excuse for turning up the volume and clicking the play button.

Michael Schumacher

Michael Schumacher is back! No, this is not a joke.

Ferrari driver Felipe Massa was seriously injured in an accident during the Hungarian GP qualifying last weekend, which needed immediate surgery, and the Brazilian was deemed unfit for competing in the forthcoming races.

Thirteen drivers were in contention for Massa’s seat, and news about Schumacher’s return was speeding up all the time.

Yesterday, Schumacher announced he was looking forward to the challenges that await him in the driver’s seat of teammate Massa’s Ferrari putting an end to all speculation about the stand-in driver.

Schumacher said his F1 chapter was closed long ago, and this return was an opportunity to show his loyalty to Ferrari.

Welcome back Schumi! We wish you all the very best!
