OK, so Chevrolet replaced the 800 cc engine on the Matiz with a 1,000cc motor and renamed it the Spark. The power intensified by a few horsepower and everyone was happy. Not everyone, apparently.

In Italy, Chevrolet has unveiled the LPG-powered Matiz (Spark) which comes with a choice of two engine options-the 4-cylinder of 995 cc 65 hp engine which is available in India, and the 3-cylinder 796 cc 51 hp, which was used on the Daewoo version in India. 2009 GM Daewoo Matiz to be launched in Korea

Recognized as the Chevrolet Spark in India, the Daewoo Matiz has been one of the finest small cars from the Korean maker.
