Government to set up apex bodies on hybrid vehicles

In an effort to promote hybrid cars in the Indian markets, the government will set up two high-level bodies this week. Toyota to launch its hybrid vehicle Prius in India

Japanese automobile giant Toyota Motors Corp has decided to launch its hybrid sedan, Toyota Prius in India as a remedy for soaring fuel prices and concerns over emission issues.
