Hyundai i20 is rivaling the likes of Tata Altroz, Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Baleno, and Toyota Glanza.
Maruti Baleno and Hyundai i20 are two major players in the premium hatchback segment. With the current generation updates, the Hyundai i20 gains an edge over the Maruti Baleno. The same goes for the interior design. As for the features, the Hyundai i20 is also better equipped than the Baleno with a larger touchscreen, more connectivity technologies. Considering the engine options, the Hyundai i20 offers more choices with two engines and a wide range of transmissions. On the other hand, the Maruti Baleno only gets one petrol engine which is an 83PS 1.2-litre N.A petrol unit. However, on a positive note, the Baleno is more affordable than the Hyundai i20.
