Next Generation BMW 5 Series Photo hits internet

Photographs of the next generation BMW 5 Series has hit the internet. The car designed with inputs from the Concept CS and the new 7 Series, was rendered by talented artists previously using an image of the car’s bumper, which was released on the internet.

German car maker, BMW’ (Bavarian Motor Works) popular luxury saloon and recent Indian entrant, the 7 Series has taken top honors in the luxury performance class of the Auto motor und sport awards. A total of 336 models competed in this competition with no less than 100,000 voters participating.

The German luxury car giant, BMW entered the Indian market in the year 2007 and in its second year it sold 2,908 units of its cars which wasn’t too far away from the direct competitor, Mercedes Benz which sold 3,625 cars in the same year with a 12 year experience in the Indian car market.

BMW raring to become No.1 Luxury car maker in India

After reaching a record mark of 100% growth for the year 2008 in India, the immediate step for the German car maker is capturing the luxury segment market and they have big plans to become No.1 in this segment.

In order to make this happen BMW has open up this year’s roster with latest edition of BMW 7-series, 3-series and SUV’s X6 and X3 during the course of the year.

2010 Audi A8- IAB Special Report

‘German Luxury Car Trio’ Audi, BMW & Mercedes, are ready to unleash Blitzkreig with each other’s ‘Dictators Cars’ (High-end luxury cars). BMW has already revealed its New 7- Series and Mercedes is slowly but steadily bringing its 2010 S-Class close to completion. Not surprisingly, Audi is also at work designing and testing its flagship A8 luxury sedan set to be released in 2010. The designers of the A8 in a new ‘avatar’ are expected by Audi to keep the looks fresh in the market to compete its rival counterparts – Mercedes-Benz S class and BMW 7 series.

Next Generation BMW 3 Series spy shots

We’ve seen a lot of the 2010 BMW 5 Series testing with camouflage which will come off in 2010. Notably the 5 Series will borrow design aspects from from the CS Concept and the recently launched BMW 7 Series.

The BMW 5 Series’ sibling- the 3 Series is getting ready for an overhaul. It made it’s global debut in 2005 and subsequently found it’s way into India. The test mule photographed here is the 2010 or possibly a 2012 model. Similar to the next-gen 5 Series, design elements will be lifted from the CS Concept.

All new 7 series Beemer to reach Indian shores in early 2009


BMW is planning a grand revival plan for the 7series with the all new model to be launched soon internationally.The earlier E65 has recorded lowest sales ever and this makes for a strong point to launch the new 7 series soon.The all new & series is based on the BMW CS concept which was unveiled to the public at the Shanghai motor show in April this year.

Though the show car was a stunner,the 7 sports toned down styling (as all the concepts nowdays bear a few like the Scirocco,Ford Fiesta).The controversial ‘Flame Surface’ styling used in the 4th gen 7 which left the cash registers at Mercedes Benz ringing,has been toned down in the all new 7.The good news is that,BMW is planning to bring in the all new 7 to India early next year.
