Audi A4 2.0 TDI e – A4 with enhanced performance

The Audi A4 is offered in India with either the 2.0 TDI (diesel) or the 3.2 FSI (petrol) engine. You don’t have the choices Audi plonks under the A4 overseas, but here’s one Audi might be tempted to add to the Indian arsenal.

A 2.0 TDI engine with fuel economy figures reading 4.6-litres per 100km and tail pipe emissions of 119grams per km of CO2 is ready to be unleashed on the Audi A4 in June this year. The new engine boasts of a 0-100km/h time of 9.5 seconds and has enough steam to display 215km/h on your speedo.

Changes on the Audi A4 2.0 TDI e

  • special tires minimize frictional losses
  • final drive ratio modified to decrease strain on engine
  • aero changes- radiator grille, ground clearance and underbody aerodynamics altered for better fuel economy
