Fiar Design have introduced their bodykit for the 2016 Toyota Fortuner which went on sale in Thailand in July this year. The design house has introduced an add-on chin for the front and rear bumper, complete with chrome exhaust tips, side steps and matte-black alloy wheels.
Based on a new ladder-frame chassis, the 2016 Toyota Fortuner gets added safety features in the form of 7 airbags, VSC, Hill Hold, Trailer Sway control, Hill Descend control in addition to ABS and EBD. Other features include LED projector headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, smart entry with push button start, a touchscreen Bluetooth-enabled music system, leather seats, an electric tailgate, electric adjustment for the driver's seats, and two driving modes (Power and Eco).

The 2016 Toyota Fortuner is not expected to launch in India for at least another year, Mr. Jaishankar, Deputy Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor confirmed to Indian Autos Blog. Reports state that TKM is working with vendors to increase parts localisation for the SUV, and also plans to manufacture the 2.4- and 2.8-litre GD diesel engines at an upcoming plant in Jigani, Karnataka.
