M&M shows ‘Commitment to Australia’ after launching Pik-Up

After launching the Mahindra Pik-Up (Scorpio Getaway) in Australia, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has embarked on a tour named ‘Commitment to Australia’, with a hope of winning customers over, and publicising the brand name. The touring team will meet current Mahindra drivers, prospective customers and dealers to gather feedback and positive aspects of the pick-up truck.

Deputy General Manager (Export), M&M, Mr. Choudhari stated, “We are very committed to the Australian market and are planning on launching additional models here in the not too distant future. In order for us to do so meaningfully, we need to have our ears to the ground to know what our Australian dealers face, and very importantly, what our current buyers and those considering our vehicles want to see more of, or conversely love about our offering”

Hyundai Verna facelift launched in Korea

Hyundai Verna facelift launched in Korea

The Koreans are unlucky. Though this the new version, it looks like a mistake. The face of the Hyundai Verna facelift (known locally as the Verna Transform) reminds me of the alien in the movie alien vs predator. Scary, nasty and very very uncool to say the least.

The revised Hyundai Verna sporting minor changes is now available in Korea. External differences include a different radiator grill, bumper, quadra-exhaust and headlamp.

Interiors receive a dose of items like a different mp3 player/radio, speedo and tacho dials and ipod connectivity facility.

Will this come to India? Hyundai, you don’t want to do this to us. After cars like the i20, you’ve moved to the next level in design and engineering. Bring this to India and you will move instantly a step backward.

This is literally warding off customers from showrooms. This would serve its purpose in farmlands as scarecrows.

Revealed- 2010 Mercedes Benz S-Class; 19 hi-res images, press release

The 2010 Mercedes Benz S-Class has been the topic of many stories on Indian Autos Blog in the recent months. Spy pictures and sources maintained this year’s version would be hardly be any different, changes would, and only be new headlights and bumpers. HOW WRONG!

Just because it is fuel efficient, don’t be fooled into thinking its a steam engine train. The 2010 Mercedes Benz S400 Hybrid uses a 3.5-liter petrol engine produces 205 kW (279 hp) and an electric motor that gives out 15 kW (20 hp).
