Audi India has distributed invitations to the media notifying them that the facelifted A4 is being launched tomorrow. Audi is upping the ante by teasing the vehicle on their Facebook page.

The new A4 is not an all new generation car like the upcoming BMW 3 Series (F30) but a cosmetic touch up to the current car with minor under-body modifications. Audi has started selling this model in other countries.

The first images of the new A4 were revealed by the German HQ back in October last year. Since then Audi India has been testing a fully camouflaged mule in Mumbai and Pune.

What's new on the Audi A4 facelift?

The front fascia has been completely redesigned to bring it in line with its big brothers. The restyled headlights and modified bonnet has helped them complete this task. A new diffuser and restyled tail lights round up the changes to the rear. A new dual exhaust system also features for a sportier appearance.

The cabin has received changes in the form of a new steering wheel, revised trim and chrome accents to pump up the premium feel. An updated infotainment system is also made available in the European model.

Under the skin, Audi has made minor tweaks to the suspension system and changed the steering system that takes no assistance from the engine on the straight-ahead position, lowering fuel consumption by 0.3L/100km.

We'll have to wait and see if Audi tweaks the pricing too. Stay tuned to IndianAutosBlog.com for further updates.
