Perodua Bezza GXtra launched in Mayalsia, priced from RM 35.5k
Sagar Parikh, I'm the international news editor at IndianAutosBlog.com. I love everything that has a steering wheel!
The Perodua Bezza 1.0 Standard G is no longer on sale in Malaysia. In its place, there’s a new Perodua Bezza GXtra, which is priced from RM35,500 (INR 6,02,857.56)* and offers more value for money.
Unlike the Perodua Bezza 1.0 Standard G, the Perodua Bezza GXtra features side skirts and chrome door handles. The GXtra grade is available in the Ocean Blue exterior colour, which was previously reserved to the Premium X and Advance grades.
The interior too has gone up a notch in styling. The dashboard and panel surrounding the audio system are finished in piano black. The air vent surrounds, steering wheel spokes and gearshift lever are satin-finished. Like the exterior door handles, the interior door handles carry chrome finish. Another change is the inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity in the audio system.
The Perodua Bezza GXtra employs the 1KR-VE 1.0L VVT-i three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 50 kW (78 bhp) at 6,000 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. This three-cylinder engine is coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy is rated at 22.8 km/l (MT)/21.3 km/l (AT).
The Perodua Bezza GXtra costs RM35,500 (INR 6,02,857.56)* in the MT model and RM37,500 (INR 6,36,821.37)*. It comes with a 5-year/1,50,000 km warranty.
