The Ford F-150 has arrived in Malaysia, with prices starting at RM 3,88,888 (INR 59,75,889.88). Strangely, Malaysia is getting the pre-facelift version of the thirteenth generation F-150, when the facelifted model is already out.
The Ford F-150 in Malaysia does not carry ‘Ford F-150’ badges, as SDAC, Ford’s distribution parter, is not the one offering the vehicle. It has ‘Urban Warrior 150’ branding, as it is likely a right-hand drive version converted by Canadian company Urban Warrior that deals in 4x4 special vehicle modifications and right-hand drive conversions. The pickup truck is imported from the USA and locally assembled. Its right-hand drive conversion kit is sourced from Canada. The conversion process takes three months.
The Ford F-150 buyers in Malaysia will have three cab style options - Regular Cab, SuperCab and SuperCrew, and five grade choices - XL, XLT, LARIAT, King Ranch and Platinum. There are four engine options, as listed below:
- 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6 - 325 hp/508 Nm
- 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 - 385 hp/525 Nm
- 3.5-litre Ti-VCT V6 - 282 hp/343 Nm
- 5.0-litre Ti-VCT V8 - 365 hp/569 Nm
All engines are paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Buyers will get the option to specify a 4x4 system, which is standard in the King and Platinum grades, as well as various accessories, including the ones from the Raptor pack.

Hamawangsa Kredit, the company introducing the Ford F-150 in Malaysia, is working on reducing the entry price to the RM 3,50,000 (INR 53,80,551.20) mark. The company aims to sell 150 units annually.
