Automotive illustrator X-Tomi Design has released a rendering of the new Suzuki Swift Sport imagining the hatch with extensive aftermarket mods.
The 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport rendering sits lower and features a bolt-on widebody kit. It has the same bumper profile. However, the grille appears to have been borrowed from the standard Swift variants. There's a rectangular air intake placed just above the grille to aid cooling. A red stripe highlight features on the front splitter and side skirts and complements the red and black dual tone exterior treatment. Other notable highlights include silver and golden multi-spoke deep dish alloy wheels and a large roof spoiler. The car features a double stripe across the side sill with 'Swift' lettering.
The 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport made its global debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The display car featured a leather-wrapped steering wheel with red stitching, bucket seats with red stitching and “Sport” branding. Also present were stainless steel pedals and red highlighting on the dashboard, centre console, door panels and inside the instrument panel.

Under the hood, the 2018 Suzuki Swift Sport holds a revised version of the K14C BOOSTERJET engine. The 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol motor develops max power and torque of 140 PS at 5,500 rpm and 230 Nm of torque from 2,500-3,500 rpm respectively. 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic are the transmission choices, which send power to the front wheels.
