Dacia has showcased the 2018 Dacia Duster EDC at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The other variant on display sported a 6-speed manual transmission.
The 2018 Dacia Duster, while retaining the core hardware, features a more distinctive grille which extends to the headlights positioned at the car’s extreme front corners, thereby giving a wide stance. The SUV gets new LED DRLs and a larger scratch resistant front skid plate. The vehicle rolls on new 17-inch alloy wheels, with black wheel arch trims. It gets aluminium roof bars and a skid plate at the rear as well. The SUV is 4.3 metres long, 1.8 metres wide, and has a ground clearance of 210 mm.

On the inside, the Dacia Duster is shaped dashboard is more vertical and driver-focused. MediaNav Evolution display with new Piano type keys and automatic climate control are standard. The seats are newly designed for better ergonomics, and the driver’s seat comes with an armrest, lumbar adjustment and a new height-adjustment system.
The Dacia Duster EDC employs a dCi turbocharged diesel engine which makes 110 PS of power at 4,000 rpm and 260 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. The engine mates with the six-speed dual clutch transmission with two-wheel drive. On the safety front, the vehicle gets Blind Spot Warning; keyless entry; curtain airbags; a multi-view camera which incorporates four cameras (one at the front, one on either side and one at the rear) for efficient manoeuvrability. Additionally, it features Hill Descent Control and Hill Start Assist for easier driving on sloping terrain. The UK sales of the SUV will begin from mid-2018.
