An upcoming Tata Tiago special edition version has been spotted in the wild by a Team BHP member. According to the information provided, it will be launched as the Tata Tiago Wizz and will be sold as a limited edition.
The Tata Tiago special edition is finished in Pearlescent White with glossy black roof and ORVMs. Team BHP's source adds that the special edition version carries 'wizz' and 'Limited Edition' badges along with "blue dotted wheel rims" (sic.). The unit seen in the picture here wears black 13-inch rims and does not get front fog lamps.
On the inside, according to the source, there is new seat upholstery along with piano black and Berry Red finish for the center console. While the source claims the special edition Tiago is based on the XT trim, he/she also points out that it gets manually adjustable ORVMs and misses out on day/night IRVM and passenger side vanity mirror, which indicates that the Tata Tiago Wizz might be based on a lower XB or XM trim. We will have to wait until the official launch of the Tata Tiago Special Edition for confirmation.
As is the case with most special editions we are not expecting any mechanical changes. However, it remains to be seen whether Tata offers the Tiago Special Edition with both 85 PS 1.2 L Revotron Petrol and 75 PS 1.05 L Revotroq Diesel engines or just the former as it is the more popular of the two. It could land in showrooms before the end of September.
