Royal Enfield is developing a higher capacity variant of the Royal Enfield Continental GT. This version, allegedly named 'Royal Enfield Continental GT 750', was recently spotted on the roads while out for a test run, courtesy PowerDrift. The Continental GT 750 is now undergoing final testing before its launch this year.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 has some minor visual differences compared to the Royal Enfield Continental GT, mainly because of the changed mechanical setup. It features an extended frame and dual exhausts, as well as high-mounted rear turn indicators. The gas charged shocks have moved from the bottom to the top. The chain and sprocket have moved to the left side of the wheels.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 will have a circa-750 cc twin-cylinder, air-cooled engine assisted by an oil-cooler. Because of its meaty exhaust note, reports suggest that the higher capacity Continental GT has a 270-degree crank. 17-inch wheels are expected, shod with 120 section tyre at the front and 160 section tyre at the rear.
