Maruti Swift now priced at INR 4.79 Lakhs to INR 7.46 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
Following the implementation of GST on July 1, Maruti-Suzuki has shared the revised price list of the Maruti Swift. Prices now range between INR 5.43 Lakhs – INR 9.39 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

Prices have been reduced by INR 2,500, with the ZXI variant receiving the most significant price cut. Like the Dzire, the Swift attracts 28+1 percent tax for the petrol variants and 28+3 percent tax for diesel models. The small price cut may not necessarily increase demand, given the quantum, but the Swift will continue to be one of Maruti's best selling cars, with sales of 15,000 units+ per month this fiscal year.

The current Swift is now one of the few oldest cars in Maruti’s portfolio, awaiting the replacement that's due in early 2018. The current model can be had with a 1.2-liter K-Series petrol engine developing 84.3 PS and 115 Nm of torque or a 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engine delivering 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque. Both engines come equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard and can average an ARAI-certified fuel mileage of 20.4 km/L (petrol) and 25.2 km/L (diesel).
