The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is a direct replacement to the Bajaj Pulsar NS150 in the global market.
Ghost Ryderz, one of the country’s professional motorcycle stunt team recently organised a Pulsar fest where they took the cover off the newly introduced Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
The premium 150-160 cc challenger from Bajaj Auto, the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 was first unveiled in Turkey in December 2016 to Bajaj's dealer partners. The bike is powered by a new 160.3 cc oil-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve, DTS-I mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 15.5 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
Aping the style of the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is retailed in India in Saffire Blue, Passion Red and Glossy Pewter Grey. The bike though misses out on the rear disc brake. The front wheel gets a 240 mm disc.
The Bajaj Pulsar 160 tips the scales at 142 kg and has a 176 mm ground clearance. The fuel tank can store 12 litres of petrol.
Positioned against established players like the Yamaha FZ-S FI, Suzuki Gixxer and Honda CB Hornet 160R, the bike gets a kick starter as well as a self-starter. It is shod with 80/100-17 inch tyre up front and an 110/80-17 tyre in the rear.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is priced (all ex-showroom) at INR 78,368 in Delhi, INR 80,648 in Mumbai, INR 81,466 in Chennai and INR 80,365 in Kolkata.
