Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is already on sale in Nepal and Turkey.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 has been spotted by IAB reader Abhishek Joshi on the Mumbai-Pune Highway. The motorcycle, as per media reports, is expected to be introduced to the Indian market as a Yamaha FZ FI v2.0, Suzuki Gixxer and Honda CB Hornet 160R competitor.
If indeed true, the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 can be expected to retail alongside the Bajaj Pulsar 150. The bike is powered by a new 160.3 cc single cylinder, oil-cooled mill. Coupled to a 5-speed gearbox the engine is capable of producing 15.5 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
In Turkey, the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is offered with a single-channel ABS in the front and a drum brake layout in the rear. the Indian version, if launched, may miss out on ABS. The bike also gets backlit switchgear and tubeless tyres. The bike tips the scales at 135 kg.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS160 spied this time round, unlike the previous instance when it was clicked in heavy camouflage, is without any ugly camouflage. Overall styling is an exact replica of the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS. Bajaj Auto is yet to officially confirm the bike for the Indian market.
If launched, Bajaj Auto does not have a lot of room to position this motorcycle. The Pulsar 150 is priced at INR 75,604 and the Pulsar 180 has a sticker price of INR 80,546 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
