Bajaj Auto cuts prices by up to INR 4,500

Bajaj Auto was the first manufacturer to have a fully BSIV compliant product portfolio.

Bajaj Auto has announced a price reduction of up to INR 4,500 depending on the model as well as the State in which the motorcycle is purchased. This makes Bajaj the first manufacturer to pass on GST benefits to customers before the new tax structure takes effect on July 1, 2017.

Bajaj Auto is the first two-wheeler manufacturer to transfer GST benefits to customers.

Thanks to the reduced amount of taxes the production cost of manufacturers have fallen and the benefits are expected to be transferred to customers with every manufacturer. Mr Eric Vas, President, Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto, said

Bajaj Auto is proud to be the first and only motorcycle company in India, to offer post-GST reduced prices to customers even before the implementation date. Customers no longer need to wait for 1st July to buy their desired Bajaj Motorcycle

To know the exact amount of the discount, customers are requested to visit the nearest Bajaj dealership. The motorcycle maker had earlier increased the Bajaj Pulsar line-up by INR 1,001.

Bajaj has recently launched Euro 4 compliant motorcycles in Turkey, including the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and Bajaj Dominar 400. The company has also launched the Bajaj V15, Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, and Bajaj Pulsar RS200 in Malaysia in May 2017.
