Powering the 2017 Triumph Street Triple S is a 765 cc liquid-cooled, in-line three cylinder mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The fuel injected engine is capable of producing 113 PS of maximum power at 11,250 rpm and 73 Nm of peak torque at 10,421 rpm.

The seat height has increased by 10 mm to 810 mm while the fuel tank capacity remains unchanged at 17.4-litre. The swingarm in the 2017 Triumph Street Triple S is new and is black powder coated just like the main frame and subframe.

The motorcycle gets features like ride by wire, two riding modes (rain and road), LED position lamp and a mildly updated instrumentation LCD.

The 2017 Triumph Street Triple S is suspended over upside down fork up front and rear monoshock with adjustable preload. Unlike last time, when the suspension was sourced from KYB, these come from Showa. The bike also gets ABS and switchable traction control.
