Suzuki GSX-R150 was first showcased at IMOS 2016.
With trail motorcycles continuing to be popular in some parts of the world like Indonesia, a report in Iwanbanaran reveals that Suzuki is working on a 150cc on-off road motorcycle. The new motorcycle may trace its origins to the new 2017 Suzuki GSX-R150.
The trail motorcycle will be placed against the Honda CRF 150 and Kawasaki KLX 150. The 147.3 cc mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox in the Suzuki GSX-R150 produces 19.17 PS of power and 14 Nm of torque. The engine in its present tune though is not suited for trail riding.

Fitted with long travel suspension and dual-sport tyres, the motorcycle could be the spiritual successor to the Suzuki TS 250R Savage retailed in the 70s and the 80s. The upcoming motorcycle will also get a high raised exhaust to offer more ground clearance.
