Will enter production in November this year.
With months for its world debut, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler's interior images have surfaced online. JL Wrangler Forums has published a spy shot and a leaked image of the next-gen Jeep Wrangler.
The 2018 Jeep Wrangler will feature an evolutionary design on the inside. While automakers move to fully-digital instrument panels and touch-operated keys/panels on the centre console, Jeep has retained the SUV's old-school look with analogue instruments dominating the layout.
The all-new Jeep Wrangler will feature new 3-spoke steering wheel, redesigned analogue instrument panel, repositioned central HVAC vents (on the infotainment system's sides) and a more premium centre console. The 2018 Wrangler will offer features like heated steering wheel, parking sensors, reverse camera, engine auto start/stop and engine push-start button.
The fourth-generation Jeep Wrangler (codename: Jeep JL) will continue with a ladder-frame chassis and solid axles for retaining its go-anywhere character. Its wheelbase will be longer than the current model (2,947 mm). A 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 petrol engine is expected form the sole offering at launch, with mild-hybrid, diesel and hybrid options following later during the lifecycle, by 2022.
