Deliveries 10-12 weeks away.
Skoda Auto will soon launch the 2017 Skoda Octavia in India. According to Team-BHP forum member Pickdj, Skoda dealerships in the country have started accepting bookings for the facelifted model.
The 2017 Skoda Octavia appeared in a spy photo while undergoing local road testing for the first time last month. The dealership referred to by the forum member expects deliveries to start in 10-12 weeks, suggesting Q3 2017 market launch for the car. Note that Skoda India hasn't announced the start of the facelifted model's bookings yet
The facelifted Skoda Octavia's transformation is at the car's front where it gets a new quad-headlight setup, wider radiator grille, wider air inlets with honeycomb structure, restyled bumper and sleeker horizontal fog lamps. At the rear, remodelled bumper with new shape light reflectors and tail lamps with tweaked cluster are the key changes. Full-LED headlamps are available.
Due to the new bumpers, the Octavia has grown a few millimetres in length. The width of its rear track has increased by 20 or 30 mm depending on the engine and rear axle.
