Volvo showcased the Volvo S90 at the 2017 Bangkok International Motor Show held from 27 March 2017 through 9 April 2017. The Volvo S90 was launched in Thailand in November 2016.
The Volvo S90 is available internationally in six diesel and three petrol models, as well as a T8 plug-in hybrid petrol-electric model. In Thailand, Volvo offers its flagship saloon only in the D4 diesel engine model. The Volvo S90 D4 measures 4,963 mm in length, 1,879 mm in width and 1,443 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,941 mm. Tge D4204T14 2.0-litre twin-turbo four-cylinder unit develops 140 kW (190 hp) at 4,250 rpm and 400 Nm of torque between 1,750 rpm and 2,500 rpm. Power is sent to the front wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Volvo S90 is available in three trim levels internationally: Inscription, R-Design and Momentum. The Thai-spec S90 is sold only in the Inscription trim level. Full-LED headlamps, 19-inch silver diamond-cut alloy wheels, 8-inch digital instrument cluster, 12-inch driver display, 9-inch Sensus Connect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and 1400-watt Bowers & Wilkins audio system with 12-channel amplifier and 19 speakers are key features of the Volvo S90.
