The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Battle Green was showcased at the Bangkok International Motorcycle Show with a sidecar.
The Royal Enfield Classic brand name has been garnering constant interest with its retro appeal. The sidecar accessory is adding to the nostalgic magnetism the Royal Enfield brand is associated with.
The Royal Enfield Classic 500 Battle Green sidecar is powered by the existing 499 cc single cylinder, air cooled, fuel injected mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 27.2 bhp of maximum power at 5,250 rpm. The all important torque figure stands at 41.3 Nm at an engine speed of 4,000 rpm.

The suspension system remains the standard 35 mm telescopic forks up front and gas charged twin springs in the rear with 5-step adjustable preload. Braking is overseen by a 280 mm single disc up front with 2-piston calliper and a 152 mm drum unit in the rear.
The Royal Enfield Classic 500 is priced at THB 189,800.
