The new Xcent was launched on April 20 at a starting price of INR 5.38 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The petrol version is priced between INR 5.38 Lakhs to INR 7.09 Lakhs, while the diesel variants retail between INR 6.28 Lakhs to INR 8.41 lakhs (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). It is available in five grades: E, E+, S, SX, SX(O).
The exterior receives the bulk of the changes, like a new hexagonal grille with chrome slats and bezel, horizontal foglamps beside LED DRLs, revised bumpers, new 15-inch alloy wheels in the top-end model, new wraparound taillamps, and a reshaped boot lid with chrome garnish on the outside.
Inside, the SX and SX(O) grades get a new 7-inch AVN touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink and Voice Recognition, while lower models also come equipped with a Shark Fin antenna, smartphone holder and alternator management system.

Also new is the engine powering the diesel variant, which drops the 1.1L U2 unit for a new 1.2L U2 turbodiesel from the Grand i10, while the petrol variant retains the 1.2L 4-cyl Kappa unit. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic (petrol only).
