While the middleweight supersport territory had seemed on its way to extinction, the unveil of the new Yamaha R6 last year, the possibility of a new Suzuki GSX-R600 and now this render has raised new hopes for the segment
The Honda CBR600RR has won several world supersport championship titles and is expected to be loaded with electronics in the next update. The new CBR600RR, just like its predecessor, can borrow a lot from the Honda RC213V-S and the similarity in the headlamp cowl of the render is evident.
The current 599 cc liquid cooled, in-line four-cylinder mill is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 120 PS of maximum power at 13,500 rpm and 66 Nm of peak torque at 11,250 rpm.
