TVS Jupiter will be the second scooter by TVS to be BSIV compliant.
The TVS Jupiter in its BSIV avatar has been spied in a YouTube video by Anurag Raina. The automatic scooter gains an optional disc brake and Auto Headlamp On feature. The drum brake version also gets a combined braking system which is called 'Sync Braking System' by TVS.
At the heart of the TVS Jupiter is a 109.7 cc air cooled, single cylinder mill coupled to a CVT. In its BSIII version, the engine is capable of producing 8 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 8 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.
The scooter gets a BSIV badging below the left front indicator. A disc brake is also offered in the TVS Jupiter ZX variant. Before this, a disc brake was only offered in the MillionR Edition. Features include an external fuel fill cap, low fuel indicator, retractable bag hooks, mobile charging and dual side handle lock.

The BSIII version claimed a fuel efficiency of 62 km/l and the BSIV version of the TVS Jupiter could be expected to have a slightly lower efficiency.
The TVS Jupiter has a price tag of INR 49,034 and INR 51,057 for the ZX trim (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
