Hyundai has launched the Hyundai Creta in South Africa. Placed below the Tucson, the Hyundai Creta is manufactured in India.
The Hyundai Creta in South Africa gets two engine options a 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel. Coupled to a manual or an automatic gearbox the petrol mill produces 122.36 PS of power at 6,300 rpm and 150 Nm of torque at 4,850 rpm. The diesel, on the other hand, gets only an automatic transmission and produces 127.80 PS of maximum power at 4,000 rpm and 260 Nm of peak torque at 2,750 rpm.
The Hyundai Creta in South Africa gets two-tone full leather upholstery. Features include an 8-inch full HD infotainment system Projector headlamps, LED positioning lamp, electric ORVMs and rear park assist with camera.

Safety features include ABS, EBD with driver, passenger, side and curtain airbags. The Hyundai Creta also boasts of keyless entry and auto locking doors. The compact SUV is sold with 16-inch wheels in all three variants.
The Hyundai Creta in South Africa has been priced at ZAR 319,900 for the petrol manual, ZAR 339,900 for the petrol automatic and ZAR 369,900 for the diesel automatic.
