The Harley-Davidson Street Rod borrows the powertrain from the Harley-Davidson Street 750.
Harley-Davidson has beefed up its entry level range with the introduction of the Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750. The street focused motorcycle now gets a sporty touch with more torque and updated suspension.
The company has updated the Indian website, and an official announcement on the same can be expected soon. The 749 cc High Output Revolution X V-twin mill which is capable of producing 65 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm, compared to the 59 Nm of torque the Street 750 generates. The engine also has a higher compression ratio of 12:1 (up from 11:1).
The Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 tips the scales at 238 kg which is 5 kg heavier than the Street. Tyres are a wider 120/70 specification up front and 160/60 in the rear. The bike is shorter in length by 85 mm, and the wheelbase has been shrunk by 10 mm. The front suspension gets new 43 mm upside down forks and dual shocks in the rear, both of which offer increased travel.

The instrumentation in the Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 is a 3.5-inch electronic speedometer with high-beam, neutral, low oil pressure, turn signals, engine diagnostics, low fuel warning, blade key ignition and fork lock, and locking gas cap.
The Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 starts at GBP 6,745 in the UK and USD 8,699. India prices have not been revealed yet but will carry a hefty bump over the Street 750.
