Europe's popular sub-compact SUV gets its mid-life facelift.
The 2017 Renault Captur (facelift) has made its world debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland. The facelifted model will go on sale in Europe later this year, and is different from the Captur sold in Brazil and India (coming soon), as it's based on the Clio platform.
The 2017 Renault Captur features mildly updated exterior and interior, but its complete details aren't out yet. Renault says that the refreshed front-end brings the Captur's looks closer to the Kadjar's. With the facelift, the sub-compact SUV has received new C-shaped LED daytime running lights integrated into the lower front bumper, new full LED "Pure Vision" headlights and tweaked tail lights with C-shaped signature. Captur customers will now get two more colour choices: Atacama Orange and Ocean Blue, as well as a new Platinum Grey roof colour.
Renault will offer the 2017 Renault Captur with five exterior packs: Ivory, Ocean Blue, Cappuccino, Red, and Atacama Orange (for the wheel bolts and door panel strips). For personalising the interior, customisation packs in different colours will include Ivory, Ocean Blue, Caramel, Red, Satin Chrome and Patina Chrome. The equipment list now consists of a fixed glass roof as well now, when specifying the vehicle with a two-tone exterior scheme and from the third trim level and up.
Renault hasn't announced the technical specifications of the 2017 Renault Captur yet, but the current engine options should continue as before.
