The 2017 Hero Duet BSIV has started reaching dealerships, sporting new graphics. New colour options may also be included.
The heart of the scooter remains the same 110.9 cc air-cooled, single cylinder OHC mill which is shared with the updated Maestro Edge. In the 2017 Maestro Edge, the engine is capable of producing 8 bhp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm.
The features list includes a metal body, external fuel filling lid, mobile charging port with boot light, tubeless tyres and integrated braking system. The instrumentation is a mix of digital and analogue readouts.

The Hero Duet, like most Hero two-wheelers, also get a side stand indicator. The scooter also gets Auto Headlamp On (AHO) which is confirmed by the lack of headlamp on-off toggle switch on the right handlebar.
