Reportedly starts at a price of INR 11.39 lakhs.
Initial units of the VW Vento Highline Plus have begun arriving at dealerships, one of which was snapped by a Team-BHP member. The launch of the new top-end variant is imminent, although VW is yet to divulge any official information.
The key feature of Vento Highline Plus is the new full-LED headlamps with DRLs, akin to the unit mounted in the India-spec VW GTI. While previous reports stated that the Vento HL Plus would ride on 16-inch Portago alloy rims, the example spotted sits on 15-inch Zirkonia alloy wheels. It will also get a rear parking camera as standard.
Engine options for the Highline Plus grade are expected to include a 1.6-litre MPI naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol, 1.2-litre TSI turbocharged four-cylinder petrol and the updated 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel.
A 5-speed manual is the standard transmission in the 1.6 MPI and 1.5 TDI variants, while a 7-speed DSG is standard in the TSI variant and available as an option on the TDI variant.
