Triumph Bobber & Triumph Street Scrambler reaches dealerships - UK

The Triumph Bonneville range gained the Triumph Bobber last year.

The modern classics by the British manufacturer, the Triumph Bobber and Triumph Street Scrambler based on the Triumph Street Twin have reached dealerships in the United Kingdom ahead of its official launch on February 23, 2017, reports MoreBikes.

The Triumph Bobber gets the powertrain from the T120 but in a special Bobber tune. The bike is priced at GBP 11,900.

The Triumph Bobber is powered by a 1,200 cc high torque mill borrowed from the Triumph T120. The engine has been retuned to address the special needs of the motorcycle. The engine produces 77 hp of maximum power at 6,100 rpm and 106 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. Coupled to the mill is a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.

The Triumph Bobber also gets a ride-by-wire system, two riding modes (road and rain), switchable traction control, torque assist clutch and an engine immobiliser. The floating seat gets first in segment adjustability which allows movement both forward and backwards. The peashooter exhaust too is a new unit.

The 2017 Triumph Bobber has been priced at GBP 11,900.

The Triumph Street Scrambler is based on the Triumph Street Twin and costs GBP 10,700.

The Triumph Street Scrambler gets signature Scrambler lines without missing out on its iconic Bonneville heritage. It gets an interchangeable pillion seat and an aluminium rear rack, removable pillion pegs and hangers, adventure style front pegs and bash plate.

The chassis has longer rear shocks, a 19-inch front wheel, wide handlebars and a low seat height. Fitted with Metzeler Tourance tyres, the new Street Scrambler gets an accessible seat height, commanding upright riding position, sure handling, wide handlebars, rider-focused-technology and over 150 stylish accessories, the new Street Scrambler is fun, accessible and ready to personalise

The powertrain is the 900 cc twin from the Street Twin coupled to a five-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 55 hp of maximum power at 6,000 rpm and 80 Nm of peak torque at 2,850 rpm. Electronics include traction control and ride by wire.

The 2017 Triumph Street Scrambler has been priced at GBP 10,700.
