Launch expected to take place in April 2017.
CarAndBike reports that the 2017 Hyundai Xcent (facelift) will look bigger and plusher than the outgoing model. Reports suggest that it will go on sale in India in April 2017.
The design changes to its front fascia will look broadly similar to the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10, featuring the Cascading grille, redesigned fog lamps with inlets for the air curtain, and LED daytime running light strips. Changes to the profile may be limited to a new design for the alloy wheels/wheel covers, while the rear-end gets all new horizontal taillamps, new bumper and reworked boot lid.
Inside, the 2017 Hyundai Xcent will get updated upholstery and colours, as well as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink for smartphone integration, voice control with a dedicated button for that function on the steering wheel. A 5.0-inch touchscreen audio system will be available for the lower Sportz variant.
The new Hyundai Xcent will also source the new 1.2-litre U2 CRDi three-cylinder unit that produces 75 PS at 4,000 rpm and 19.4 kgm (190.25 Nm) of torque, while the petrol variant keeps the 1.2L Kappa four cylinder engine.
