The Aprilia V4 platform has brought home seven world titles.
The 2017 Aprilia RSV4 and 2017 Aprilia Tuono V4 have made their American debut at the Chicago Progressive International Motorcycle Show (IMS). The Piaggio owned brand also revealed prices of the motorcycles for the US market.
2017 Aprilia RSV4
The new Aprilia RSV4 RF is powered by a 999.6 cc V4 mill which is capable of producing 201 hp of maximum power at 13,000 rpm and 115 Nm of peak torque at 10,500 rpm. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed cassette type gearbox. The bike gets a new sophisticated suspension system with fine adjustments both in hydraulics and spring preload. There is also an adjustable steering damper, also supplied by Ohlins.
Aprilia RSV4 also gets a new braking system by Brembo. The front relies on a pair of new 5 mm thick steel discs with diameter increased to 330 mm gripped by the monobloc M50 callipers fitted with new superior friction coefficient brake pads. The 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RR is a race replica edition gets several features which were available only in the factory version. The RR trim gets magnesium external housings, oil sump and head covers, as well as a wide range of chassis adjustments.
Both the Aprilia RSV4 RF and RR will be available from March 2017. The RR trim costs USD 16,999 and the RF version costs USD 22,999.
2017 Aprilia Tuono V4
2017 Aprilia Tuono V4 is offered in two distinct models, both upgraded for 2017 with a TFT display, Aprilia Cruise Control, Cornering ABS, and a quickshifter. 2017 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory is the more exclusive version, coming with Ohlins NIX suspension and graphics. While the 2017 Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 RR gets the same Brembo braking system as the RSV4.

Powering the bike is a 1,077 cc V4 mill which is capable of producing 175 hp of maximum power at 11,000 rpm and 120 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm.
The 2017 Aprilia Tuono 1100 RR is priced at USD 17,499 while the RF trim will cost USD 14,999.
