Features the exclusive TRD accessories for a more butch look.
Saud Bhawan, the official distributor of Toyota products in Oman, is showcasing the Toyota Fortuner TRD at the ongoing 2016 Oman International Motor Show. Note that this model should not be confused with the Fortuner TRD Sportivo sold in Thailand.
Similar to the model showcased at PIMS 2016 (Philippines International Motor Show), the 2016 Toyota Fortuner features exclusive TRD accessories for a more butch look, such as black plastic mesh grille with TRD badge, black plastic fog lamp surrounds, red-painted TRD-branded underbody engine cover, matte-black TRD alloy rims, TRD side board, and a sportier rear bumper.
Unlike the TRD Sportivo, the interior looks identical to the regular Fortuner. It features an all-black dashboard contrasted by tan-leather seat upholstery, and comes equipped with a power-operated tailgate, rear view camera, a new 8-inch navigation display with audio controls, 8-inch Rear Seat Entertainment system (optional), dual airbags, driver’s side knee airbag and automatic climate control.
The 2016 Toyota Fortuner TRD is powered by a 4.0L V6 naturally aspirated petrol engine tuned to produce 235 hp and 38.3 kg-m, paired with a 6-speed automatic and part time 4×4 drivetrain as standard.
