For the Japanese market, Toyota has introduced TRD-branded accessories (individual and packs) for the newly-launched Toyota C-HR crossover, Prices range between 2,500 yen - 165,000 yen (tax not included) for accessories.
If the styling of the standard Toyota C-HR isn't as flamboyant as expected, the newly launched TRD accessories may rectify that. There are two-packs on offer: the aerodynamic 'Aggressive Style' and the rally-inspired 'Extreme Style'.
The 'Aggressive Style' comes with a bold front spoiler with LED daytime running lights, side skirts, rear diffuser, a boot lid spoiler, 18-inch TRD TF6 alloy wheels painted in black and gloss black front grille garnish. the 'Extreme Style' has a tougher bumper with silver garnish, flared black-plastic wheel arches, red mud flaps, a black boot lid spoiler and also the 18-inch TRD TF6 alloy wheels.
Inside, the C-HR TRD can be had with urethane sports seat covers featuring a shock-absorbing material called Exgel, red-color start/stop buttons, TRD-branded smart key case, and door handle protectors. The only notable mechanical upgrade is a "Motion Control Beam" (MCB) for the suspension system, which is claimed to dampen slight vibrations and deformation while in motion, increase body rigidity, and minimise body roll.
