MINI is displaying the MINI Cooper S Seven Edition at the 2016 Thai Motor Expo. Revealed in May this year, the Seven Edition celebrates the first ever Mini, the Austin Seven, which launched in 1959.
The MINI Cooper S Seven Edition is available in 3- and 5-door forms. The Cooper S Seven Edition 3-door seen in the images sports Lapisluxury Blue body colour inspired by ultramarine pigments found within the Lapis Lazuli semiprecious stone. Besides that, it's instantly recognised with 18-inch MINI Yours Vanity Spoke light alloy wheels, exclusive side scuttles and the roof and door mirrors in Melting Silver.
Inside, the MINI Cooper S Seven Edition features 'Seven' lettering on the ring around the MINI Centre Instrument, Malt Brown-finished armrests in the doors and cockpit knee roll below the decorative surface, and decorative trims and door ellipses come in stylish Piano Black.
The MINI Cooper S Seven Edition is powered by the 2.0-litre MINI TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder Gasohol 95 engine that develops 141 kW (192 hp) at 4,700-6,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque at 1,250 rpm. The engine is mated to the 6-speed Steptronic automatic transmission. The Cooper S Seven Edition 3-door can reach from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and go further up to a maximum speed of 233 km/h. It is priced at 28,90,000 baht (INR 55,36,784.62).
