The next generation Suzuki Swift will launch in Australia in H2 2017, according to Car Advice.

For the Australian market, the Swift could offer a 1.0L Boosterjet 3-cyl petrol engine which, in the Baleno, produces 82 kW of power and 160 Nm of torque. It's unclear if Suzuki will continue offering the 1.4L K14B four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine producing 70 kW and 130 Nm of torque. The Boosterjet variant will be paired with a 6-speed auto as standard, sending power to the front wheels.

We are not sure if the next generation Suzuki Swift Sport will launch alongside the regular Swift, or at a later time. It is rumoured to pack a 1.4L Boosterjet 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 103 kW (138.07 hp) and 220 Nm of torque, sent to the wheels via Suzuki's ALLGRIP  AWD system.
