Subaru has unveiled the 2016 Subaru XV STi (facelift) at the ongoing Thai Motor Expo. It carries over the cosmetic changes from the facelifted XV, and is priced at 1.438 million baht.
The new XV STi features with a single-slat chrome hexagonal grille with gloss black mesh, L-Shaped LED DRLs and chrome garnish beside the round pair of foglamps, new black plastic front spiltter, black lower body cladding, prominent wheel arches, exclusive set of multi-spoke matte black STi alloy rims, clear-lens taillamps and a roof-mounted spoiler with STi badging. The exterior colors available include Pure White, Ice Silver Metallic, Dark Grey Metallic, Obsidian Black Pearl, Tangerine Pearl and Desert Khaki.
Inside, the Subaru XV STi has a full-black interior with part leather upholstery, contrasted by red stitching on the seats, steering wheel, gear selector, and floor carpets. It also comes equipped with a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Starlink support, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity.
Under the hood is 2.0L four-cylinder Boxer engine from the regular XV, which produces 148 hp at 6,200 rpm and 196 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm. Drive goes to all four wheels via an Active Torque Split AWD system and a Lineartronic CVT with six virtual ratios.
