Celerio Limited launched for sale at 366,000 baht.
Suzuki Motor Thailand is showcasing the Suzuki Ciaz RS and Suzuki Celerio, both featuring sporty graphics, at the 2016 Thai Motor Expo which opened today for the media. While the Suzuki Celerio Limited is available to customers, it's unclear if the Ciaz RS show car will go on sale.
A year after it made its local premiere at the same venue, the Suzuki Ciaz RS returns with a sportier exterior. It doesn't feature any exclusive enhancements to the RS body kit; rather gets a bold set of graphics on the profile and engine hood, matte black contrast roof, gloss black ORVM caps, black alloy rims, faux carbon fiber garnish around the chrome grille.
It shares the 1.25L four-cylinder petrol engine with the regular Ciaz, which produces 91 hp and 118 Nm of maximum torque, mated to a CVT. In Thailand, the regular Ciaz RS is priced at 675,000 baht.
Suzuki has also given the same treatment to a Celerio Ecocar, featuring black and red graphics across the profile, matte black contrast roof and C-Pillar. The limited edition model is based on the GA (366,000 baht) and GL (446,000 baht) variants, and measures 3,600 mm long, 1,600 mm wide, 1,560 mm tall and features a 2,425 mm wheelbase. It offers a boot capacity of 235 liters and has a turning radius is 4.7 m.
Powering the Celerio is a 1.0L three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68 hp and 90 Nm. The GA variant features a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the GL variant features a CVT, instead of a 5-speed AGS (AMT) offered in the India-spec Maruti Celerio.
