Will be launched in mid-December.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 concept's production version has been rebranded twice. According to new reports, the motorcycle will be called 'Bajaj Dominar 400'. Dominar means 'to dominate' in Spanish, and the '400' stands for the engine capacity class the motorcycle belongs to.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 concept's production version was simply 'Bajaj Pulsar CS 400.' During its development it was reported that it would be rechristened 'Bajaj VS 400', and in the last few weeks, reports emerged that the Pulsar branding would not feature on this model, and that the company plans to call it 'Bajaj Kratos 400'.
According to the latest report, the change in the production version's name to 'Dominar 400' is the reason the launch is delayed to mid-December. The motorcycle is confirmed to reach showrooms by the end of the year.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 will be powered by the KTM Duke 390's 373.27 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This motor puts out 44 hp in the Austrian offering, but on the Bajaj it will be de-tuned to 34.5 hp, reports say. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed transmission.
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is expected to be priced at INR 1.85 lakh (OTR).
