Will go on sale in Europe in early 2017.
A week after the 2017 Skoda Octavia's digital introduction, the company has sent us more pictures and details of its interior. The facelifted model features a number of visual refreshes, technological updates and additional equipment.
With the facelift, the Skoda Octavia gets newly designed instrument panel and operating controls, new seat upholstery and optional ambient lighting with ten selectable colours. Several changes have been made to the materials and colours. Consider the Ambition trim level, which features a new black/brown reference combination and an entirely black instrument panel.
The inlays have been revised. In the Style and Laurin & Klement trim levels, the decorative strips in the doors are completed with ambient lighting as standard. Narrow light guides can be changed to ten colours. The comfort and convenience have been increased with additions like heated steering wheel, folding tables, PET bottle holders and a customisable key which initiates the saved vehicle settings as soon as the driver unlocks the vehicle.

All four infotainment systems (Swing, Bolero, Amundsen and Columbus) now have capacitive displays in glass design. The Columbus infotainment system, which like the Amundsen infotainment system includes navigation, now features a 9.2-inch display.
The 2017 Skoda Octavia will be available with five TSI and four TDI engines that have displacements ranging from 1.0 to 2.0-litre and produce maximum output ranging from 63 kW (84 hp) to 135 kW (184 hp). Transmission choices include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed dual-clutch automatic and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The new Octavia is one of the three launches Skoda India has planned for 2017.
